§7. 31th of May, 2022 is the deadline for early registration and payment of conference cost with reduced rate. 01st of August, 2022 is the deadline for regular payment of conference cost. 

§8. 15 th May 2022, 2022 is the deadline for abstract submission. 30th May 2022 is the deadline for final acceptance of abstracts. We encourage Participants to submit their abstracts as early as possible. 

§9. The conference fee may be made either by bank transfer or with a payment card (PayU). 

§10. Participants (or institutions) paying by bank transfer have to cover all the relevant bank charges. 

§11. Exchange rates to PLN are applied on the day of the payment. 

§12. An invoice will be sent upon request only; no later than 3 weeks after receiving the payment. Participant should request her/his invoice (and provide relevant data) following the steps given in the on-line registration form. 

§13. If Participant is going to pay the conference fee from her/his private account and wants the invoice to be issued for an institution, we will request her/him to send us (by e-mail) consent from the institution. 

§14. To request a cancellation of participation in the symposium, or to make a change, please send an e-mail to the Organizers at 11cretaceous.symposium@uw.edu.pl 

§15. Cancellation policy 

• For cancellations received by May 15th, 2022 (11:59 pm CET), 100% of the registration fee will be refunded. 

• For cancellations received by August 1st, 2022 (11:59 pm CET), 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. 

• No refunds will be available for cancellations made after August 2nd, 2022 (00:00am CET) or for no shows. 

• All refunds will be issued after the Conference. 

• Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Symposium email address: 11cretaceous.symposium@uw.edu.pl 

 

§16. If the Organizers cancel one of the field trips (due to organizational reasons), the Participant is entitled to a full refund of the field trip cost. 

§17. If the Conference Dinner is cancelled by the Organizers (due to organisational reasons), the Participant will be refunded the full cost (35 EUR) of the Event. 

§18. In case of refunds mentioned in the paragraphs from §15 to §17 refunds will be transferred to the card or bank account from which the payment was received; and bank transfer charges and the exchange rate difference will be covered by the Participant (or institution which made a payment). 

§19. All refunds will take place no later than three weeks after the end of the symposium. 

§20. All complaints and reclamations will be considered by the National Organising Committee no later than four weeks from receipt of the complaint. 

§21. All amendments and supplements to this document must be made in writing or otherwise they will be null and void. 

§22. The provisions of the Civil Code and other laws will apply regarding issues not governed by this Document. 

§23. According to the Act of 29.08.1997 on the protection of personal data (Journal of Law no 101, 926 with amendments), all personal data of the Participant provided on-line will be in the possession of the University of Warsaw, located in Warsaw, ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28, Tax ID 525-001-12-66, REGON 000001258 for the purpose of fulfilling this Contract. Providing this data is voluntary, but compulsory for the participation in the symposium. Participants have the right to access and amend their personal data.
